Listening to Silence 9-8-2016

After my weekly Hatha Yoga (7:30 am - 8:30 am) class at the Hines Center for Spirituality, I had recommended to the 'pop-up practices ( #popuppractices )' there this as advice which has been passed on from my Yoga teacher (image on the left).

Listening to the most subtle sound that you can hear is a great way to concentrate and induce oneself into a meditative state. The image on the right was on the back of the board. Great tips to solitude! I am delighted that they are encouraging the public to this type introspection!

Try it! Take 5 breaths and listen, what is the quietest sound you can hear right now? What's your response? Please comment!
